Dog Training Services

Each client and dog has different needs. Because of this, we use and recommend a variety of tools and techniques; however, we will not push you or your dog into anything you are not comfortable with.
We advocate responsible dog ownership:

Proper socialization - helping you see your dog through the imprint stages

Beyond basic obedience – teaching your dog acceptable manners for the home and in public

Addressing behavior problems - whether the behavior just started, or has been progressing

Giving your dog an outlet - through exercise and mental stimulation

Leadership, impulse control, and engagement exercises - so your dog looks to you for direction.

For you to have a well balanced dog.

For you to learn how dogs communicate, and you communicate with your dog.

For you and your dog to learn that all of this is one FUN process.
What we expect from you:

Patience, calmness and confidence when it comes to your dog.

5 to 15 minutes several times throughout the day that you will need to work with your dog.

For you and your dog to have FUN together.
Private Lessons
Our private lessons are more geared for dogs needing behavior modification. However, some like the one-on-one time with the trainer and prefer this over a group class.
Obedience Classes
Our 8-week obedience class and 6-week puppy class give you the foundation you and your dog need if you are just getting started, or you can work on proofing skills if you are already off to a good start.
